Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account on UR Power, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not create an account or use the platform.
Eligibility
You must be 13 years of age or older to use UR Power. Users under 18 may use the platform with the awareness and consent of a parent or guardian. Certain features may be limited for users under 18.
Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for providing accurate information. Do not share your login with others. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
Our Services
UR Power provides program matching, community resources, engagement tools, and pathway tracking to help connect you with services and opportunities. UR Power is operated by Family Action Network (FAN), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
We are not a government agency. Program eligibility results shown on UR Power are estimates based on the information you provide. Actual eligibility is determined by the program administrator.
Disclaimer
UR Power provides screening estimates and resource matching, not guarantees of program eligibility or benefits. We are not responsible for decisions made by government agencies or third-party program administrators regarding your applications or eligibility.
Data Accuracy
You are responsible for keeping your Info Bank data accurate and up to date. Inaccurate information may result in incorrect program eligibility estimates. You can update your information at any time through your dashboard.
Acceptable Use
When using UR Power, you agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your Profile page. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Limitation of Liability
Family Action Network is a nonprofit organization providing free community services through UR Power. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FAN is not liable for any program application outcomes, benefit decisions, or damages arising from your use of the platform.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of UR Power shall be resolved in the courts of Michigan.
