The 2023 North Texas Cybersecurity Conference may be our most exciting show ever. We have brought
authors, industry leaders, and numerous cybersecurity leaders into the show to address the future of
cybersecurity.
We want to share how AI is impacting cybersecurity now and where this will lead. We want to discuss
the future of the cyber workforce. We want to learn about what the most valuable cyber skills of the
future will be and we bet you do too.
Come experience the first-ever Shark Tank-like opening ceremony (Defend IT), where we will have guest
cyber leaders probe a few of our event sponsor’s solutions and then the audience will vote for the game
show winner. This will be a lively event so don’t show up late and miss it.
Our own local Phil Wylie will lead the lunchtime keynote for students and focus on hacking your way
into a cyber career. Phil has done more to grow cyber professionals in the DFW community than
probably anyone and deserves a great deal of our appreciation for his decades of vigilant efforts.
Doug Hubbard, author of “How to Measure Anything in Cybersecurity Risk” will be a lunchtime
mainstage keynote speaker and also run one of the boardroom breakouts. Doug is our star VIP this year
and will draw a big crowd, so his session will definitely require you to get in early to find a seat.
Speaking of breakouts, TX ISSA has 3 breakout styles to enjoy this year:
The Boardroom: the crowd surrounds the boardroom table, where our cyber leader gladiators joust
over cyber future ideas for your edification and enjoyment.
The Classroom: Still have a lot to learn? Us too. Come sit in and listen to cyber thought leaders wax
poetic about the future of our industry.
The Lab Room: Want to be able to take away a new skill? Let one of our cyber ninjas teach you the
recipe to success. Take their practical lessons home and make a difference in your own environment.
We are excited to host this year’s event at the shiny new conference center at the Collin College Frisco
Campus, so don’t head over to the east campus this year! And don’t forget to stick around for the prizes
drawing from show sponsors and NTX ISSA to wrap up the event.
See you Sept. 15!!
