The purpose of the annual conference is to inform the membership and the public regarding mental health resources available and legislative changes in the state of Florida that impacts persons with mental illness. The goal of the conference is to explore the needs of veterans, youth, LGTBQ and other populations and discuss strategies to increase engagement and provide services. We will also explore co- occurring disorders such as substance misuse, depression, and anxiety disorders with SMI diagnoses such as bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
